The post holder will be a part of the CPF team in the Emergency Department (ED). The post holder will share the responsibility of delivering a robust induction plan for new starters to ED (Registered and Unregistered). They are responsible for the maintenance of training records for ED staff to ensure compliance with Trust training requirements. The post holder will deliver speciality specific training to ED staff ensuring they have requisite clinical skills to deliver safe, effective and evidence based care to patients and their families. The post holder will participate in clinical audit programmes within ED to improve standards of care. They will contribute ideas to the CPF band 7 to feed into the Directorate’s training and development strategy, identifying areas where training and/or development are required.
