As a Nursery Practitioner you will help to provide high-quality care and education for the children. You will help to facilitate a range of activities for the children including singing, maths, cooking, PE, woodwork and outside grow vegetables in their allotment - making every day a learning adventure.

Responsibilities:
1. The Nursery Practitioner creates and implements age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that promote children's cognitive, social, and physical development. This might involve organizing and leading activities, games, and educational experiences.
2. Keep open and effective communication with parents or guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and daily activities.
3. Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children in your care.
4. Regularly observe and assess each child's development, behaviour, and needs. Keep detailed records and share progress with parents and caregivers during parent-teacher meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Minimum Level 3 recognised Childcare qualification.
2. Effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and the team.
3. Proficiency in record-keeping, following nursery policies and health and safety guidelines.
4. The capability to work effectively with the whole team of educators and support staff, promoting a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
