The post holder will form part of a dynamic team responsible for developing, directing and delivering the ambitions set out in local strategy as a response to the recommendations within the following national publications: NHS Long Term Plan The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health Governments response to Transforming children and young peoples mental health provision: a green paper. The Ockenden Review The post holder will work with an extensive network of senior clinicians, managers and staff across health care providers within Gloucestershire, NHS England, education and other key partner organisations within the voluntary and community sector. This is a challenging role and there is a real opportunity for the post-holder to shape and influence the design and delivery of the work programme, by working with colleagues to provide dedicated programme management advice and support. The role has a key responsibility in enabling the transformation of mental health and/or maternity services to deliver improved access to evidence-based care and improved outcomes. Both portfolios are exciting and highly complex work programmes which will change and improve services for women and families accessing maternity care and children and young people with mental health difficulties.
