Salary: £38,333.37 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team at HMP Send, a closed category adult female prison.

Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Working on commercial or industrial heating and water systems.
2. Ensuring compliance with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
3. Maintaining a good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the following qualifications:
1. Two years' experience working as a plumber or in a relevant role.
2. C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating.
3. C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing (Advanced craft).
4. C&G 6019 Mechanical Engineering services (plumbing).
5. C&G 6018 heating and ventilation installation.
6. C&G 6129 certificate in Plumbing.
7. C&G 214 Engineering systems maintenance.
8. C&G 6188 Heating and ventilating.
9. C&G 6088 certificate in heating and ventilating.
10. C&G 6032 the advanced craft certificate in plumbing.
11. EAL Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.
12. Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
