We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 radiographer to join our expanding Department of Radiology at the Conquest Hospital Hastings.
This is a clinical role with an emphasis on General and Trauma Radiography so the right candidate will require relevant experience.
Main duties of the job
1. Shift duties to provide a comprehensive 24 hour, 365 day a year service in Trauma and General Radiography.
2. Supervision of junior staff, clinical audit, vetting and justification overview, as well as being an independent practitioner.
3. Support internal training in speciality modalities to include Cardiac and Interventional Radiography, CT and MR scanning.
4. External training support in Medical Ultrasound, Radiographer reporting and Mammography.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* BSC Honours Diagnostic Radiographer / DCR or equivalent (Grade 2.2 or above only)
* HPC registration (must be obtained prior to commencement of employment)
Desirable criteria
* Previous experience working as a radiographer in the UK
* Previous experience working in a Radiology Department at ESHT
Experience
Essential criteria
* Must have substantial clinical experience at Band 5, or already be employed at Band 6 in a similar role
* Experience of supervising junior staff
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of leadership in supplementary role (i.e. student link, H&S, audit lead etc.)
