Check out the details for this vacancy, with a world-leading technology communications company, below: Location : Reading (2 days in a week to office) Contract: 15 Weeks Responsibilities: The area we are we are looking at is mobile. I’m looking at automation and Radio access network (RAN). We have opportunities and we have products already in place, either running as BAU or being enhanced, but where we are getting demand now is to automate and orchestrate the entirety of the mobile network from deployment, to rollout, toand business as usual operations, to lifecycle support and that can be multiple areas such as installations and parameter enforcement optimisation, all of this has huge potential for automation. Experience Needed Proven experience in Radio Access Networks (RAN) with expertise Nokia/Ericsson RAN platforms and equipment. Strong understanding of RAN architectures, including 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies. Experience with network automation tools and platforms. Familiarity with network orchestration and service orchestration concepts and technologies (e.g., NFV, SDN, MANO, ETSI frameworks). Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and their integration with network elements, specifically Nokia NetAct, AMOS and its APIs or Ericsson ENM, AMOS and its APIs. Experience with bulk provisioning scripting into NetAct and understanding conflict / overload Knowledge and understanding of RAN Alliance interfaces such as O1, A1, O2 and M-Plane (R1) and how to implement rApp capability in a multi-RAT / multi-vendor environment. An appreciation of how the Telecom Security Act (TSA) may impact RAN automation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and engage with cross-functional teams.
