Pensions Accountancy Officer (closing date: 29/01/25)
£35,235 - £38,626 per year. Swansea Council is looking to recruit a Pensions Accountancy Officer to support the Pension Fund Accounting and Investment Manager in their role, providing financial and admin support in managing the £3.3bn City & County of Swansea Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
Applications are invited from a proactive, committed person who must have the initiative and right attitude to attain the skills and knowledge required.
Candidates must have competence in general accounting and knowledge of IT systems and preferably should possess a good knowledge of Local Authority functions and finances. A knowledge of Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) would be advantageous. Applications from Accounting Technicians or part qualified Accountants (CCAB) are welcome.
