We are pleased to be representing a valued repeat client in Uxbridge in their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a permanent role working for a Construction company, taking sole ownership of the Purchase and Subcontractor Ledgers.
In order to be considered for this position your CV must demonstrate recent construction industry experience and a track record of previous Purchase Ledger / Subcontractor Ledger roles.
PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK
* Entering Purchase and Subcontractor invoices on to the system
* Preparing invoices for payment - requesting relevant approvals, matching to POs, coding accordingly
* Reconciling supplier accounts and requesting monthly statements
* Preparing monthly payment runs
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve queries
* Verifying subcontractors with HMRC
* Calculating CIS deductions and preparing monthly CIS return
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Construction industry background essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Methodical and able to prioritise work under pressure
* The ability and tenacity to work in a fast-paced environment
* Able to attend the office 5 days a week
