THE ROLE Key responsibilities The EUC Engineer is a vital role within Agilisys, and this role will support the EUC Team Manager in responding to Desktop Support Incidents and Service Requests that require physical site visits. Specific duties Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following: Provide face-to-face support at client locations as allocated Provide support to States of Guernsey Responsibility for personal and team SLA & KPI adherence Hardware support, configuration and troubleshooting for all partner Laptops, Desktops, Tablets Software support, configuration and troubleshooting for partner application Troubleshoot IT related issues using the service management system and directly with customers Office-based Remote Support when required Liaising with 3rd Party Suppliers Opportunity This role is an excellent platform for experienced professionals to take their career to the next level and an opportunity unlikely to be found anywhere else. As an EUC Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a field-based role, resolving incidents and service requests through physical site visits. This role will allow you to expand your knowledge and skills in multiple Desktop and Laptop configurations and environments, as well as in IT security and Microsoft Office 365 product suite. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role. The Ideal Candidate Experience of multiple Desktop and Laptop configurations and environments Communications & configuration knowledge Effective verbal, presentation, listening and communication skills Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10 Knowledge of Active Directory Knowledge of IT security (firewalls, antivirus etc) Production knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 product suite - not just using it, but installing and troubleshooting common user queries Knowledge and understanding of PC builds, motherboards, CPUs, memory, disks etc. Knowledge of SCCM ITIL Foundation V4 A relevant industry qualification or equivalent experience in Microsoft desktop technologies or administration e.g Windows 10, M365, Azure, Intune, SCCM Good Communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and prioritise support issues Prioritises and organises own work to deliver to agreed deadlines Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skill Good time management skills Customer facing experience Flexible approach to work Rapidly establishes credibility with clients & maintains a networking relationship Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions Makes accurate decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines PROCESS Simply submit your CV.
