HR Advisor

In this role, you will work closely with the HR Manager to support a wide range of HR functions, playing a key part in the development and implementation of HR policies and documentation that help ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the business.
You will also be responsible for offering expert advice on Employee Relations (ER) matters, providing guidance to both managers and employees to ensure that all actions are in line with company policies and legal requirements.

As a HR Advisor, you will need to have/be:
CIPD Level 5 qualified
Excellent organisation and administrative skills
Ability to prioritise own work ensuring that deadlines are met
Proven work experience as a HR Generalist
Good employment law knowledge
Collaborative and pragmatic approach to work
Ability to initiate and manage change
Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the businessDetails:

HR Processes, Policies, and Administration
Assist HR Manager in monitoring and reviewing policies and procedures.
Contribute to HR strategy development and implementation.
Document and create process flows for HR policies.
Address employee and manager queries, directing them to relevant policies.
Advise on employee relations issues (e.g., disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, sickness absence).
Participate in performance management, including appraisals.
Maintain personnel records and HR systems.
Support family-friendly cases and queries.
Assist HR & Payroll Administrator in ensuring payroll data accuracy (e.g., absences, bonuses, leave).
Keep casework trackers updated for reporting to the Board.
Build relationships with warehouse staff, hold HR clinics, and attend Operations meetings.
Collaborate with Legal & Compliance Team on policies, Health & Safety, and LMS.
Support HR projects and collaborate on HR statistics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, recruitment trends).
Manage SharePoint administration.
Oversee HR inbox.Sickness Absence
Monitor and report sickness absence trends.
Support managers in absence review meetings.Recruitment
Drive recruitment strategy, attracting and retaining talent.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job descriptions, interviews, and onboarding.
Evaluate agency performance with HR Manager.
Handle onboarding and offboarding, including inductions and exit interviews.Training and Development
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
