The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead the performance and optimisation of renewable energy assets? As an Asset Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing offshore wind assets, ensuring they deliver top performance and long-term value for investors.
You’ll work closely with O&M teams to maximise generation, boost returns, and drive continuous improvement across a dynamic portfolio. This is a fantastic chance to blend your operational, commercial, and financial expertise—and make a tangible impact in the renewables sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Oversee the performance and optimisation of offshore wind assets
* Ensure full compliance with commercial agreements and foster strong relationships with stakeholders (investors, OEMs, engineers, landowners)
* Collaborate with O&M teams to challenge and enhance operational performance
* Manage budgets, forecasts, financial data, and P&L for assigned sites
* Support the transition of new assets from development into commercial operation
* Troubleshoot cross-functional issues with technical, financial, or commercial implications
* Drive asset life extension and investment planning initiatives
* Deliver clear, accurate reporting and manage asset valuations
* Champion robust data management and audit programmes
* Ensure contractual and insurance compliance across the portfolio
* Assist with asset acquisitions and support origination efforts
What You’ll Bring
* A degree in Engineering or Business (or similar discipline)
* 2+ years’ experience in asset management within the renewable sector
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for data and trends
* Confident communicator and proactive problem-solver
* Team-focused mindset with adaptability and curiosity
* Understanding of energy markets, policies, and commercial structures
* Project management or financing experience a plus
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and data systems
Location: Teesside Wind Farm – candidates must live within a commutable distance to site.
With some travel to Edinburgh/Durham/Blyth.
