Main duties of the job Job outline: Responsible for driving Choice Facilities vehicles, including the shuttle bus service, for the collection, transportation and delivery of staff, patients, equipment and other goods. You will also be responsible for daily checks and maintenance of the vehicles in your care and working on transport helpdesk to cover absences. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to gain a C1 and D1 licence once employed. You must also have and a driver qualification card (CPC) or willing to undertake this once employed. Working hours will be shifts during hours of Monday to Sunday 7.00am to 8.00pm. You will be required to undertake manual handling tasks as well as have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff. General Duties of a Drivers role include; Using Radios and mobile phone equipment to carry out duties Using computers to carry out online training Answering telephone at helpdesk and responding to customer enquiries Driving Choice Facilities vehicles, including the shuttle bus service.
