We are currently looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Bolton, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will maximise communication potential for children and young people through direct and indirect assessment and intervention contributing to success of the Communicate SLT team.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
1. Provide speech and language therapy services to children, supporting families and the multi-disciplinary team.
2. Conduct assessments, set therapy targets, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records.
3. Deliver individual and group interventions; develop SLT programs for pupils.
4. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with other agencies and families for integrated service.
5. Support SLT student placements, deliver training programs, and engage in professional development and supervision.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
6. A recognised professional degree qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
7. Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
8. Registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
