This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual to join the Pharmacy Aseptics team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust. Working alongside fellow Support Workers, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacists, you will play an integral part in the supply of high-risk injectable medicines to our Chemotherapy Day Units. You will have the opportunity to contribute to achieving our Team Vision, 'Providing Quality Aseptic Services to Ensure Safe and Effective Patient Care' and to do this you will need to be a good team player and have a real desire to improve patient experience.
An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services is desirable, though the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain this qualification in the first few months in the role.
We have a long-standing well-established team working within the pharmacy department, spread between the two main hospital sites.
Improving working lives and staff wellbeing is very important to us.

The Pharmacy Aseptics team is a small, well-established, close-knit team made up of highly motivated support workers, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacists, all of whom are committed to making a difference to the service that we provide. The team itself sits within the wider pharmacy department, and the successful candidate will be working closely with many colleagues across the whole department.
We have a very strong working relationship with all of our nurses and clinicians, and our pharmacy team is very well respected.
Applicants will need to complete NVQ2 in pharmaceutical sciences if not already held; this may affect starting grade. Training and NVQ can be completed whilst in post.
