We are looking to appoint for an experienced Teaching Assistant to take on a mornings only, 5 days a week position at a fantastic Primary School located in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. You will be supporting a mixed KS2 class of year 3 and 4 pupils, some of which require additional support and 1:1 work in order to keep them on target with the rest of their peers. The position is due to start in February The school is an ideal environment for the educational development of Primary Pupils and has a warm, friendly atmosphere in which all members of staff are recognised for their individual contributions towards the pupils learning. The school is large and is 3 form entry. What the school require from you: An approachable and professional attitude towards your work De-escalation Training (Team Teach/Norfolk Steps) Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant/EYFS Practitioner Ability to adapt well to any given situation/challenge Training in Safeguarding, Prevent or any other relevant course You will be expected to monitor and assess the progress of pupils and assist in their progression through learning.
