We're looking for a motivated and proactive European Transport Co-Ordinator to join our team. You’ll be the go-to person for managing day-to-day client relationships, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and helping drive profits through smart planning and strong partnerships. You’ll be working closely with our clients, suppliers, and internal teams to make sure we’re providing top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effectively plan both import and export trailers to and from the EU to utilise space and maximise profits
2. Provide an exceptional level of service to all customers as required
3. Maintain and update suppliers contact list to ensure efficiency across the department
4. Select appropriate carrier/service providers to maximise profits and deliver service
5. Invoice and cost shipment files in a timely and accurate manner
6. Maintain and monitor service expectations of existing and key accounts
7. Follow the company operational procedures
8. Management of business from inception to completion
9. Manage own time to best efficiency for the business
10. Carry out any other duties deemed necessary by the company
11. Seek, develop and secure new opportunities from existing business
12. Achieve profit growth through effective commercial management of new and existing accounts
13. Interpersonally effective
14. Develop trust and respect from colleagues across the organisation
15. Identify problems early & respond in a timely fashion
16. Work with the team to find solutions
