We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer to join us in Worcester !
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office, 2 working from home.

We rely on our Data Warehouse Developers to maintain and develop the data warehouse platforms which play a critical role in the daily reporting for the business. Working in one of our central support functions you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer fantastic support to our business and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Data Warehouse Developer with Huws Gray:
1. Support the Design, development and maintenance of new Business Intelligence capabilities in line with the organisations analytics strategy and vision.
2. Support the analytical community by providing access to data sources, building and maintaining semantic access layers.
3. Work on Data Transformation from SQL to MS PowerBi
4. Utilise SSIS / ETL tools to create access to new data sets for analytics in Power BI and SQL Server
5. Capture and translate business requirements into specifications, then implement appropriate data access to allow analysts to create the required reports and dashboards.
6. Develop and configure PowerBi datasets and workspaces.
7. Working with others to develop and document domain knowledge of key systems in support of maximising the value of the data available.
8. Working with the Data Management function to understand and remediate data quality issues.
9. The use of Dev Ops/TFS for code management

10. A degree, or equivalent in a relevant field.
11. A solid understanding of Business Intelligence toolsets, and how they fit in to end-to-end data infrastructure.
12. Strong knowledge of SQL, SSIS and Power BI
13. Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures.
14. Comprehensive knowledge of analytical processes, techniques, and skills.
15. Hands on development of BI tools and development of analytical products.
16. Experience of data warehousing solutions would be an advantage.
