Coppersmith recruitment are partnered with a prestigious insurance company, who are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Broker to join their dynamic team.
Our client works within various markets including Commercial, Cyber & Risk Management, Sports & Leisure, Freight & Marine Cargo, Health & Wellbeing, Home & Property Owners, Travel & Holiday, and more.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to analyse market trends, communicate effectively with clients, and drive sales through upselling strategies.

2. An opportunity to develop your own portfolio - of standard & non-standard Commercial Accounts, Risks and Schemes
You will have:
1. Experience of working on Commercial Insurance risks
2. A proven track record
3. The ability to work as part of a team with the other Brokers
4. Excellent technical insurance knowledge
5. The self-confidence to effectively deal with clients' boards and board members
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Looking after existing book of commercial clients, from SMEs to larger corporate clients
2. Maintaining meaningful relationships by providing excellent customer service
3. Further developing the current book, by:
1. Cross selling techniques and business development
2. The development of existing insurer facilities in the UK (and EEA)
3. Developing the existing scheme and target markets
4. Operating within regulatory guidelines
5. Supporting other team members as appropriate/necessary to ensure a first-class service to all of our clients
Required:
1. 2+ years' experience in General Commercial Insurance
2. 2+ years' experience in generating and placing new business
3. Experience of Broking within the EEA would be an advantage as would a knowledge of arranging insurance for companies trading internationally
4. Driving license
