UK-Kettering As the Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operations of the Home Survey Business Unit. Your key responsibilities will involve driving the implementation of crucial initiatives and establishing innovative processes, systems, and work methods to enhance efficiency and strategically position the business for sustained growth and success. Additionally, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating cross-functional business activities to ensure seamless operations within the Home Survey division Responsibilities: - Develop strong working relationships with the Business Unit lead, Head of Marketing, and Head of Sales/BD to understand the strategic plans for the division and advise on the associated operational implications. - Conduct a current state analysis of the operational needs of all activities and processes supporting the business unit. - Collaborate with the Project Delivery Manager, Business Analyst, and functional leads to identify a rolling program of improvements that drive operational efficiencies, operational performance transparency, and scale the processes for growth, in line with the Business Unit strategy. - Work with the Business Unit lead, Heads of Marketing and Finance to identify the business KPIs needed to understand and track the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the business unit. - Coordinate with other e.surv functions such as Operations (Surveying), Finance, HR, Propositions, Data, IT, Risk, Technical, and Marketing to align the key activities and services provided by these teams and set corresponding SLAs. - Identify blockers, issues, and operational challenges; propose solutions and remedies. - Collaborate with the risk and compliance department to ensure that the processes and practices meet all compliance requirements. - Work in collaboration with the Business Lead and Finance on the development of operational budgets, approval of invoices, and tracking of spend and investments against those budgets. - Develop operational policies.
