What you will do in your working day
* Supervise and provide individual support for pupils with identified special educational needs
* Plan, prepare and deliver assigned programmes of teaching and learning activities to an individual pupil, modifying and adapting activities as necessary under the overall direction and supervision of a teacher
* Attend to pupils’ personal needs, including social, health, hygiene, first-aid, and welfare matters
* Prepare classrooms and clear afterwards, and assist with the display of pupils’ work
* Provide clerical/admin support, e.g., photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money, and record-keeping
* Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate
* Liaise with parents and carers under the direction of a teacher.
Administer routine tests
* Accompany teachers and pupils on out-of-school activities and take responsibility for a group under the direction of a teacher
* Assist with the development of APDR and pupil passport programmes
The training you will be getting
Work towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).
