Community Renaissance (CORE) is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician - I (aka Services Technician-I or RST-I) to join our Property Management team. About the Job:
The Services Technician-I reports to the Community Manager and The Services Supervisor. This individual supplements maintenance, landscape and management efforts to keep the property in a clean and orderly condition that will meet company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist management in maintaining high occupancy by daily attention to the appearance of the vacant apartments and common areas.
2. Daily cleaning of the laundry areas, pool areas, restrooms and other common areas.
3. Daily cleaning of the leasing office and the model apartments.
4. Painting and cleaning of vacant patios and touch-up cleaning of vacant apartments, as needed.
5. Exterior painting and cleaning, as needed, including, but not limited to parking stops, curbs, etc.
6. Participate in the upkeep of various facilities (pools, fixtures, drains, etc.) as directed by the RST Supervisor.
7. Promote positive, proactive relations by projecting a courteous, helpful attitude.
8. Contribute to the team effort by being aware of and relaying information regarding the apartment community's general appearance and conditions.
9. Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, and integrity.
10. Project a professional image by meeting uniform standards.
11. Answer after-hour emergency calls as requested.
12. Must attend company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team.
13. Other duties that may be needed or required by the Community Manager or other supervisors.

EXPERIENCE
1. As this is an entry-level position, previous property management experience is helpful; however, it is not required, as long as the employee has the appropriate skill set to perform the position applied for.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
1. Exposure to various types of weather conditions.
2. Standing, walking.
3. Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 pounds.
4. Crawling, kneeling.
5. Twisting, carrying.
6. Working with hands.
7. Driving - must possess a valid California Driver's License and automobile insurance in order to drive for company purposes.
8. Operate computer and office equipment.
