We have a fantastic opportunity for a Skilled Operative to join our team at our offices in Bangor, Gwynedd. We are looking for a colleague who is already within this position or looking to take the next step in your career. We are open to applications from candidates who live in or can commute from some of the following areas: Bangor, Holyhead, Anglesey, Abergwyngregyn, Llandudno, Conwy, Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Bodelwyddan, Denbigh, Ruthin, Llangollen, Bala, Barmouth, Portmeirion, Porthmadog, Penygroes, Caernarfon and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, the Skilled Operative will be working on different infrastructure projects across the North Wales region and general civils works. The role will involve using machinery and we are looking for someone who is skilled to do jobs on the tools alongside the operating plant.
On a day-to-day basis, the responsibilities of the Skilled Operative will include the following (not exhaustive):
* Providing support to the team with the safe operational delivery of projects
* Undertaking tasks assigned to the agreed standard
* Ensuring that you have been trained and assessed as competent to undertake the tasks you are assigned
* Understanding the controls identified to safely manage the risks associated with construction activities
* Complying with all project documentation, applicable legislation and standards
* Maintaining effective client & stakeholder relationships
* Providing support to ensure that project environmental risks, objectives and targets are met
* Completing and maintaining daily records and pre-use checks of plant and equipment as per business and project specific requirements
* Ensuring timesheets are populated with accurate information and are acknowledged and authorised by the management team
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Skilled Operative who is in receipt of the following:
* A trade specific qualification or previous experience
* IT literate
* Possess a full UK driving licence (ideally cat C1E)
* CAT 4+ trained
* 360 Excavator <10t (CPCS)
