What you'll be doing:
* Perform preventative maintenance on various electrical systems (cranes, grabs, inverters, transformers, switchgear, etc.)
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults across multiple systems
* Design, install and commission electrical circuits
* Interface with PLC controllers and demonstrate understanding of their operation
* Maintain and troubleshoot rotating equipment, motors, pumps, and conveyors
* Work with motorized valves and associated control gear
* Proficiently use electrical test equipment, workshop tools, and machinery
* Utilize computerized Maintenance Management systems and implement preventative maintenance procedures
* Report, diagnose, and remedy plant defects while proposing improvements
* Supervise company and contractor staff
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
What we're looking for:
* Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent with detailed knowledge of maintenance techniques
* Possess relevant maintenance qualifications, with 18th Edition certification being advantageous
* Ability to diagnose faults on electrical and mechanical systems
* Experience in a continuous process industry
* Capable of performing manual handling tasks
* Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
* Willing to work weekends and out-of-hours when required, including being on-call
* Computer literate and able to learn computerized maintenance systems
* Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
* Flexible team player with strong problem-solving skills
