As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in leading the team, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment for all children. Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will support day-to-day operations, staff development, and ensure that the nursery meets all regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
* A Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification .
* Proven experience in a senior nursery or early years role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* A deep understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted regulations.
* A warm, nurturing, and inclusive approach to childcare.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily management of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education.
* Lead, support, and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Oversee planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring excellent communication and partnership.
* Support staff training and development, encouraging continuous professional growth.
* Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are implemented effectively.
* Step into the Nursery Manager role when required, ensuring continuity and consistency.
