They are a significant employer in England and are a key driver of the UK economy. They are looking for a talented In-house Construction Solicitor to join the site in the North West.
Description
As In-house Construction Solicitor, you'll draft, review and provide advice and support on commercial contracts (local and international) including confidentiality agreements, parent company guarantees, and collateral warranties.
1. Manage current and new intellectual property including patent applications and liaise with external patent attorney.
2. Liaise with external law firms where required.
3. Handle highly confidential correspondence and commercial negotiations, including legal disputes.
4. Undertake training of employees in various areas of law as necessary.
Profile
A successful In-house Construction Solicitor should be:
1. Around 3-6 years PQE.
2. Experienced as an In-house Solicitor.
3. Commercially astute and solutions-driven.
4. Experienced with commercial, corporate, and projects legal departments.
5. Familiar with construction models of contract such as NEC/FIDIC/JCT.
6. Public sector experience would be advantageous.
Experience within the Defence and Military sector would be a benefit.
