Have you got experience working with young people on a 1:1 basis? Would you like to support children outside of the mainstream school environment?
We are looking for educators in Braintree to work with young people who aren’t currently accessing mainstream school, to work 1:1 with them as a tutor!
Our roles typically involve working with children who are looked after, children with challenging behaviour and SEN/ SEMH needs. Our educators provide educational in-person sessions with children either at their homes or in a public setting like a library. The location for this would vary dependent on the need of the pupil but would be pre-agreed prior to commencement of the tuition.
Here at TP, we work with young people of all ages, from EYFS to Post 16, and are looking for educators to support predominantly with English, Maths or Science.
What are we looking for?
* Qualified teacher, SEN/ SEMH specialist or a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN/ SEMH needs.
* Able to bridge the gaps in a young person's education.
* Able to plan and deliver engaging core academic sessions, tailored to the pupil’s learning level.
* Assessing and tracking the pupil's progress to achieve their desired learning outcomes and provide feedback.
