They have been established for over 50 years and have provided process consultancy services to some of the most recognised companies in the Oil & Gas field. The position offers hybrid working of 3 days WFH and 2 days in the office per week, salary circa to £35k to £40k initially with reviews, additional bonus scheme of up to 12%, Private Medical Insurance, Pension Contribution up to 12%, Life Cover, 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays and more.
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineer will provide electrical and electronic project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.
Ensure agreed staff-hours and cost targets are adhered to.
Prepare project plans and programmes.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with procedures to client satisfaction.
Support on Projects with regards to High Voltage/Low Voltage switchgear, intrinsically safe circuits, Ex equipment, UPS systems, motor starters, motor drives, PLC's, flow computers, fiscal metering, level gauging, vapour detection, fire detection, fire suppression, security
Identify and manage design risks.
Provide appropriate engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards.
Develop design and construction drawings.
Conduct design reviews with project stakeholders.
Requirements:
We would consider recent graduates or intermediate level for this opportunity. At graduate level we're looking for a 2.1 minimum in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a Project Engineer/Electrical Engineer who has some experience and looking to progress their career in the process field.
Some knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Systems would be advantageous (Control Systems, Instrumentation, PLC's etc)
Projects background not Maintenance
Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Can perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Proficient with desktop applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Valid UK driving licence
In return the Electrical Engineer will receive the following salary and benefits package.
Basic Salary Circa to £35k to £40k
Annual bonus (Earn up to 12% of your salary based on company performance, with an additional 6% for standout performers)
