Do you have experience teaching gymnastics and are eager to develop your coaching skills in a fun and supportive environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Gymnastics coach. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our club by assisting with all levels of gymnastics as we expand. Responsibilities:
* Support high-quality recreational and intermediate gymnastics coaching sessions to children of varying ages and skill levels.
* Assist with engaging lesson plans that promote skill development, physical fitness, and a love for gymnastics.
* Provide a safe and inclusive environment for participants, ensuring their welfare and well-being at all times.
* Foster positive relationships with athletes, parents, and guardians, promoting open communication and addressing any concerns.
* Assess individual progress and provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their performance.
* Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate events, demonstrations, and performances.
* Potential to assist with our competitive squad classes as you progress in this role.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 1 qualification in gymnastics coaching/currently studying to achieve a level 1 qualification in gymnastics coaching.
* A minimum of 1 year of coaching experience in gymnastics.
* Must be happy to undergo Full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* Must be happy to complete First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications.
* A genuine interest in gymnastics and a strong desire to work with children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
* Patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet individual needs.
* Reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a commitment to delivering high-quality coaching sessions.
Working Hours:
Part time: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
