Are you detail-oriented and committed to driving and inspiring continuous improvement in the complex field of human rights? We are looking for a dedicated Group Ethical Compliance Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Part of the Group HR Function, the Group Ethical Compliance Officer will monitor, review and update various ethical platforms, monitor supply chain, undertake audits internally within the group and externally with service providers. Reporting to the Group Ethical Compliance Manager, you will support the analysis of internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards. The ability to review data and provide key analysis is a key requirement. Additionally, there will be opportunities to undertake bespoke project work.
The role of the Group Ethical Compliance Officer is varied and will involve traveling within the Group sites across Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
You will also get involved in the organization of ethical audit schedules and liaising with differing audit companies.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing and a passion for continuous human rights improvement.
* A background and knowledge of HR and HR systems and protocols.
* Strong communication and team-building skills, comfortable dealing with a wide range of people.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results against strict deadlines.
* Ability to interpret data and transfer it accurately and clearly.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and IT literacy.
* Competence in Microsoft Packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
