Inspection Engineer - Newcastle - Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:30 - 39 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position working 39 hours a week, salary to be discussed at interview stage. As well as Lifting Inspection work, there are a plethora of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft, and inspection of lifting accessories.

Minimum Requirements:
* Experience working in the lifting equipment industry
* LEEA certification
* Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
* Experience working in a testing environment
* Have an eye for detail; good problem-solving ability and a practical approach
* Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge
* Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
* Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
* Full UK driver's licence
