Working Hours: 38 hours per week – Monday to Thursday (8.30am-5pm) and Friday (8.30am-4pm Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and looking for your next challenge? Join a rapidly expanding company as an HR Advisor at their Head Office and play a key role in supporting the HR function across the business. As part of an evolving HR team, the successful candidate will be involved in a variety of HR activities and play an integral role in shaping the future of the company. You will manage a range of employee relations cases and ensure a smooth and efficient HR process across the business. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Chair and advise on ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working applications, and more, seeing them through to completion. Decision-Making: Confidently issue decisions on employee matters, including dismissals, and support managers in investigations and welfare meetings. Policy & Procedures: Update and create HR policies and procedures. Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, from preparing job descriptions and adverts to shortlisting CVs, conducting interviews, and liaising with recruitment agencies. New Starter & Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all new starter paperwork is completed, induction is delivered, and relevant information is provided to Payroll. HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records, assist with the probation process, organize HR documents for meetings, and support payroll with employee absence information. About You: Proven experience in an HR Generalist role with exposure to managing employee relations cases. Strong knowledge of HR legislation and formal processes, with the ability to work under pressure. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to confidently manage employee relations cases from start to finish. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Full driving license, with the ability to travel to various company sites when required. Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thinking outside the box. Desirable Skills: CIPD qualification or equivalent. Proficiency in Excel (including V-lookups and formulas).
