What you'll be Responsible for:
As a Trainee Process Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of Wastewater Treatment Works and associated sewage pumping stations.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Operating sites in line with environmental permits to protect the environment.
2. General maintenance of equipment and site.
3. Taking effluent samples to monitor and improve biological performance.
4. Identifying and undertaking reactive work as required.
5. Identifying potential pollution risks from our assets and taking measures to prevent pollution.
6. Looking for ways to continuously improve.
7. Working alongside the current operational team to gain experience and knowledge of the site.
8. Attending multiple training courses to become a competent operator.
About You:
We are looking for someone who’s enthusiastic about putting customers first every day and is a team player, willing to participate in all necessary training requirements for the role. A driving licence is required for this role. If you don’t have one currently, we ask that you are working towards this.

Training will be provided on the job. Length of Apprenticeship: 18 months. Salary: All of our apprenticeship and trainee programmes will start at £23,142.00.
