Summary Position Summary Business Area : Global Consulting Team: Global Ecosystems and Alliances Consultant Overview of the team and job profile: The Ecosystems and Alliances and team is part of the global Consulting practice. We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. We are seeking a person with at least 4 years of experience, of which a minimum of 2 years should be post-MBA, in the internal or external consulting space with solid research, analytical and writing skills, and an excellent command of the English language. The team is at the core of the Firm's strategy, working with industries and practice areas to orchestrate expansive business ecosystems of client and alliance relationships to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways. The team’s goals are: Enable leaders to make decisions about strategic investments that deliver transformational growth and incremental earnings for Deloitte’s global consulting practice. Use analytical skills to build in-depth go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Use cutting edge research skills to sense new alliance and/or M&A opportunities for Deloitte’s global consulting practice. Develop robust financial models, conduct financial analysis, and combine with secondary research to identify new and strengthen existing opportunities with Deloitte’s alliance partners, and/or look at M&A opportunities. Work you’ll do The professional will work with the India colleagues and senior leaders in Deloitte’s global Ecosystems and Alliances team and consulting practice. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting business, new technologies, and potential alliance or acquisition target’s business models. The professional will be expected to assist in developing extensive financial models and GTM strategies for potential alliances or acquisition targets for Deloitte. The professional will support sensing of new opportunities, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and demonstrate solid analytical and writing skills. The team’s projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility aligned to the firm and Consulting leadership’s strategic priorities. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment. Key Responsibilities Own and manage assigned tasks Conduct in-depth analysis using large technology datasets and/or develop GTM models using advanced financial analysis and excel skills Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations Demonstrate and apply solid knowledge of management frameworks Develop logically structured powerpoint presentations for internal meetings and projects Solid project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly switch between different workstreams Develop and maintain working relationships with US/global counterparts Requisite core skills Self-motivated, innovative, and strong team player Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid core consulting skills – i.e. analytical, research (primary and secondary), and communication and presentation (logical structuring and storyboarding); solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Ability to integrate and synthesize large sets of data (for data products and GTM models) and broad stakeholder perspectives into meaningful insights Solid knowledge of strategy models and frameworks Ability to work in global multicultural teams Possesses high personal and professional ethics Exposure to communicating with senior global leadership Must possess the ability to handle highest level of confidential information.
