Are you a Rail Quantity Surveyor with experience working on M&E projects?
Do you have experience of working on fixed price NEC contracts up to the value of £500k?
Location: South West London + hybrid working
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 per annum DOE + £6000 car allowance and bonus scheme
Due to growth, my client is looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team to work on M&E rail projects, valued between £150k to £500k, for clients including Network Rail, TFL and Train Operating companies. It is important that you have experience in managing both subcontractors and clients, preferably on a framework or smaller value schemes.

Responsibilities:
·Effectively manage the commercial aspects of the project, including valuations, budget monitoring, material/plant reconciliation and contract variations.
·Providing the commercial function across a wide variety of projects delivered under framework agreements and also stand-alone projects as required, to ensure successful project delivery.
·Undertake pre-contract setup, including forecasting, measurement, sub-contract tendering and procurement,
·Management and close out of Final Accounts
·Preparing and reporting through Monthly Cost Value Reports
Requirements:
·Experience working on rail projects up the value of £500k, preferably M&E
·Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
·Experience of working on fixed price NEC forms of contract
·Experience of both client and subcontractor management/liaison
