Join Gilead and help create possible, together. Job Description The General Manager, ACE Commercial is the Head of Cell Therapy (Kite) for Australia, Canada, and Europe (ACE). This role provides the strategic vision and leadership necessary to develop and execute the commercial strategy, accelerating the growth of Kite's business while ensuring timely and appropriate patient access to transformative CAR-T therapies. The General Manager is responsible for delivering strong sales and revenue growth, optimizing market access and pricing strategies, and ensuring brand leadership in a rapidly evolving, highly competitive cell therapy landscape. This role requires a deep understanding of hematology/oncology and cell therapy markets, as well as the ability to respond proactively to competition and shape external views of CAR-T to support Kite's long-term success. This position is based in Kite's International Headquarters in Stockley Park, UK, reporting directly to the SVP, Head of Commercial, Kite as a key member of the global commercial leadership team. Key Responsibilities - Drive Sales & Revenue Growth - Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximize sales performance, revenue generation, and patient access to Kite's cell therapies across ACE. - Lead Market Access & Pricing Strategies - Ensure competitive pricing and reimbursement strategies that support both financial sustainability and patient access. - Respond to Competitive Market Dynamics - Continuously assess and adapt to competitive threats, leveraging market intelligence to refine Kite's commercial approach and maintain leadership in cell therapy. - Build & Optimize Brand Strategies - Oversee brand positioning, commercial execution, and market expansion efforts to enhance Kite's footprint in ACE. - Shape External Policy & Advocacy - Engage with policymakers, payers, KOLs, and patient advocacy groups to influence the evolving cell therapy landscape and ensure broad patient access. - Foster a Winning, Collaborative Culture - Lead the ACE commercial team in building a high-performing, competitive, and collaborative organization that aligns with Kite's values and mission. - Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work seamlessly with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Technical Operations, and Gilead shared resources to achieve business objectives and operational excellence. - Develop Top Talent - Attract, develop, and retain top commercial talent, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. - Lead Financial & Portfolio Planning - Oversee the long-range business plan, portfolio strategy, and financial forecasting to ensure sustained market leadership and business success. Key Competencies The ideal candidate possesses the following key competencies: - Commercial Leadership in Hematology/Oncology - Extensive knowledge of the clinical and business aspects of hematology/oncology and cell therapy. Basic Qualifications - Deep expertise in hematology/oncology and cell therapy, with a strong understanding of clinical, regulatory, and commercial market dynamics. - Proven ability to lead a regional commercial organization, including P&L ownership and delivering strong sales and revenue performance. - Experience in a highly competitive oncology environment, with the ability to develop winning strategies in response to market challenges. - Strong leadership and team development skills, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and competitive excellence. - Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience working within a global, matrixed organization. - Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire both internal teams and external stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD) preferred. - Leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a strong track record in commercial strategy, sales leadership, and business management across multiple markets.
