We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.
We have an opportunity within our HR team to join them as a Human Resources Assistant.
This is a full-time, permanent position, that will be based at our TDS office in Hemel Hempstead. This position will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
* Support with employee records, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of HR data. This includes maintaining employee files, updating employee information, and ensuring compliance with employment law and regulations.
* Support the management of the Holiday app to ensure the organisation's structure and working patterns are accurately maintained at all times.
* Create and produce employee reports from the HR database and the Holiday app as required.
* Support the HR department with all administrative duties.
* Assist with recruitment processes and the co-ordination of onboarding and offboarding activities for employees, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
* Ensure the appropriate use and management of HR information, with particular regard to GDPR, confidentiality, and impartiality.
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
* Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in an HR administration role or a relevant HR qualification.
* A-level standard education or equivalent is essential.
* Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of employment law and its practical application.
* Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Be proficient in HR databases and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
