Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025, they are looking for a Production Manager to join their Senior Management Team.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all production and managing the section leaders (6 Direct reports and 45 indirect reports).
2. Developing and communicating long-term visibility of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the product.
3. Overseeing, scheduling, and forecasting of planning activities, overseeing procurement, and ensuring that purchasing is cost-effective.
4. Interface between internal and external stakeholders.
5. Provide leadership and direction to all direct reports and ensure objectives are met.
6. Support the introduction of new manufacturing processes and ensure best practices are shared in the group.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Strong engineering and manufacturing background within injection molding or tooling environment.
2. Toolmaking apprenticeship & engineering qualification.
3. Experience in a management position in a manufacturing environment.
4. Green Belt 6 Sigma.
5. Process improvement knowledge.
Benefits Package:
