Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Padiham Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education - EYFS Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Assist in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework Plan and adapt activities in the contiuous provision to meet the needs and interests of children Have an excellent understanding of play-based learning Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons Provide one-to-one support to children with additional learning needs Help create a safe and stimulating learning environment Assist in assessing and recording children's progress Communicate effectively with parents and carers Deliver interventions to groups of children Deliver Phonics sessions to promote and encourage Early Reading Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated experience working with young children in an educational setting Understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Understanding of Phonics and Early Reading - preferably experience teaching a Phonics scheme If you are interested in this role, please apply with your CV, outlining relevant expereince working with children in EYFS All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
