We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) to join our caring and progressive Health Visiting service.
Our health visiting service provides support to families (adults) with children aged zero to five. You’ll be juggling a varied caseload and you’ll need to be confident and flexible to provide the best support for new and growing families.
You will work as part of a team to keep children safe and well by using your clinical judgment to support evidence-based care planning and make sure that children and families (adults) who use our services have a good experience.
What will the role involve?
1. Contributing to antenatal and postnatal care programmes
2. Completing HCP mandated reviews, packages of care and safeguarding.
3. Supporting in the supervision/line management and development of colleagues
4. Undertaking a range of competent clinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes for families and the service
5. Attend and contribute to team meetings
6. Building relationships with colleagues to enhance the team working environment.
We have full and part-time opportunities ranging from a minimum of 22.5 hours to a maximum of 37.5 hours per week between 9am to 5pm. This role is community-based, so the majority of your duties will be carried out between your base and community settings or client homes.
