Sheffield Springs Academy is a United Learning Academy inspected by OFSTED in October 2024 and rated 'Good' in all areas. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Administrator to join the Finance Team working over the Yorkshire Cluster of United Learning academies. The academies are Secondary schools based in Barnsley and Sheffield; Barnsley Academy, Sheffield Park Academy and Sheffield Springs Academy, with a fourth joining in the near future.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent organisational skills, who is able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a Foundation level accounting qualification or apprenticeship qualification, or willingness to work toward, with experience of working in a financial role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of operational tasks which include purchase ledger processing, nominal ledger analysis and review, fee billing, etc.
The ideal candidate will be a highly focused and organised individual, passionate about making a difference for our academies and local communities.
