Job Description Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global, market leading electrical manufacturer. The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager shall work fully remote, visiting customers across the Southwest UK – Birmingham down to Cornwall. You will focus on new business development and managing key accounts for power quality products with an emphasis on Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems). The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience in selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the electrical industry, specifically with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems), power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, switchgear, power inverters, transformers, Static transfer systems (STS), control systems, cooling systems, or similar within electrical engineering. Developing and growing existing relationships as well as driving business development efforts, selling products for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems). Achieving sales targets by maintaining new power quality sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations. Collaborating closely with the Service Department to ensure a high standard of after-sales service. Liaising with various engineering departments. Fully remote, Covering the Southwest region. Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements: Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar role within electrical engineering. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global electrical engineering manufacturer. Experience in selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the electrical industry, specifically with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems), power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, switchgear, power inverters, transformers, Static transfer systems (STS), control systems, cooling systems, or similar within electrical engineering. Knowledge of the data centre industry and UPS Systems market is a plus. Technical aptitude and/or understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems), power distribution, critical power, or similar electrical/electronic products.
