As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Laundry Operations to lead and optimize the laundry departments across our properties.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Manager to oversee all laundry operations within our hotel group. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all laundry departments. The Senior Manager will lead efforts in improving laundry processes, managing the budget, and driving cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for all laundry departments to ensure operational efficiency and maintain high service quality.
* Review and manage the laundry services budget, monitor expenses, and revenue to meet financial targets.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
* Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in all laundry operations.
* Recommend and oversee upgrades or replacements of equipment and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement training programs to continuously enhance the skills and knowledge of the laundry team.
* Evaluate and improve laundry processes, workflows, and equipment needs to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards.
* Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
* Oversee inventory control, including the ordering, receiving, and tracking of linen and laundry supplies to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a senior management role within laundry operations, ideally in the hospitality or hotel industry.
* Strong understanding of laundry operations, budgeting, and cost control.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
* In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines related to laundry operations.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize processes.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and senior management.
* Experience with inventory management and supplier relationships.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
