Job Type: Temp to Perm
Work Pattern: 4am- 4pm
We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver with specific Walking Floor experience to join our team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established company offering competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a Class 1 vehicle with a walking floor trailer to transport goods efficiently and safely.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and in line with company policies.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete relevant paperwork.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with the operations team.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, CPC and DG Tacho
Proven experience working with walking floor trailers.
Strong understanding of road safety and legal compliance.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
