We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and calm individual with a sound understanding of 2D CAD packages to join our industry-respected and expanding design team, based in our Ilkeston office.

We are a family-run company with opportunities for career progression. Full training will be given by utilising both external training establishments and internal training with our experienced design and fabrication team.
After the initial mentored training period, the successful candidate will be managing multiple design projects from initial architect’s inception to supporting site installation, liaising with architects and customers at all levels, and reporting directly to senior management. They will be responsible for the design of bespoke systems to suit each customer’s individual needs, preparation of AutoCAD drawings (representing 60%+ of the role), material requirements, calculations, and site instruction/installation packages. The role involves liaising with site/architects to offer telephone support and, if necessary, ‘on-site’ advice.
