Business Engagement Lead for UK/Lloyd's

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Engagement Lead will ensure effective coordination across businesses and functions to help evaluate, prioritise and drive the change successfully throughout the organisation.
The Business Engagement Lead will be the key contact for all change initiatives (technology and non-technology) for UK / Lloyd's with a view to challenge and prioritise and provide holistic views to the change portfolio.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
The Business Engagement Lead will be responsible for:
* Day to day engagement – be an effective and challenging Lead to
o Work with the UK / Lloyd's region to help guide strategy as it relates to investments and its prioritisation. Ensure global business architecture alignment.
o Identify high-level solutions and drive connections with other functions where similar solutions have been put into place.
o Keep abreast on change landscape / the overall AXA XL project portfolio and its change impact. Report on change portfolio to business stakeholders.
o Develop and maintain content-relevant expertise and business knowledge around business process flows & applications to assess inward impacts.
o Serve as SME for towards other projects, i.e., participate in respective project meetings as needed.
* Project Engagement – oversee an effective launch and ensure successful execution of a program:
o Work closely with business to assess and “vet” initial ideas.
o Trigger pre-project analysis, business case and benefits / costs analysis; help business understand, and connect with, the right change and IT capabilities across Ops&Tech, and support in navigating required processes and methods. Ensure global business architecture alignment of solutions identified.
o Drive successful project initiation in coordination with Transformation and Change Delivery Team and broader organization.
o Identify cross-functional dependencies and risks throughout different project executions and drive resolution.
o Stay informed and provide guidance on business initiatives throughout program execution.
o Support business in change management on project rollouts.
o Where requested, provide guidance / assistance to other key team members assigned to a development role / opportunity.
o On occasion, drive program execution on specific initiatives.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Transformation & Change Delivery.
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
* Experience in managing large scale programs (well established) preferably in the insurance industry and in an international environment.
* Proven stakeholder management skills to influence and impact, at both programme and individual project level.
* Previous experience in strategy consulting will be of advantage.
* Ability to quickly switch between different issues or projects with conflicting priorities.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, communication and presentation skills.
* Effective ability to multi-task across a number of initiatives.
* Ability to develop and implement best practice and framework methodologies.
* Proven business acumen, coupled with technology knowledge and expertise in software development life cycle.
* Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to drive alignment with various functional/BU stakeholders.
* Proven negotiation skills, influence and creativity to achieve successful outcomes around scope, schedule, costs/budget, issues/risks, and resources.
* Knowledge and preferably prior experience in working in an Agile environment.
* Ability to deal with change effectively with familiarity of the entire working process.
