S&OP Network Supply Planning Lead (Clinical/Pharma) - £550 a day
Leading pharma company requires a S&OP Clinical Network Supply leader to oversee the tactical network supply planning across the Continuous Direct Compression (CDC) global supply network.
You will be responsible for leading the newly formed monthly CDC Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle and generating a 24-month tactical CDC asset plan across the company's portfolio. Your role will be instrumental in aligning non-patient demand, clinical demand, and commercial demand into a cohesive portfolio plan. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess network capacity and ensure plans align with Pharmaceutical Technology & Development (PT&D) CDC asset strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead S&OP processes and develop tactical supply plans across complex portfolios.
* Manage network capacity planning, including experience working with external manufacturing partners.
* Facilitate end-to-end supply chain collaboration, including pharmaceutical development, CMC, clinical supply chain, and commercial launch.
* Utilize advanced Excel skills to build and manage complex operational plans in Excel, and work with poor quality data as the process matures.
* Demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership skills, influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
* Apply an analytical mindset to use data for decision-making and problem-solving.
* Leverage proficiency in supply chain planning tools and systems to drive process improvements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
An individual who has designed, implemented, and led an S&OP process would be ideal. Experience working in an SME/start-up level organization would be beneficial, along with the ability to work with poor quality data.
This is a 6-month contract with extensions offering up to £550 per day outside of IR35. Travel is required 1 day a week to the Macclesfield (Cheshire) office.
