Temporary-Permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk required ASAP in Needham Market / Stowmarket.
Working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, paying £12.82 - £14.87 per hour ( £25,000 - £29,000 per annum) depending on experience.
Key duties in this Purchase Ledger Clerk role will include but are not limited to:
1. Responsible for accurate processing of authorised purchase invoices and credit notes onto the system.
2. Matching delivery notes to purchase orders.
3. Management of Purchase ledger email inbox ensuring all documents are distributed and authorised before processing.
4. Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any missing documents.
5. Responsible for monthly reconciliation and posting of the company credit cards.
6. Raising weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
7. Assisting in the month-end process; ensuring all invoices are processed before cutoff, accruals are calculated accurately, and reconciling the aged creditors report to the balance sheet.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
1. Experience of working in a similar role.
2. Used to managing a large volume of invoices.
3. AAT accountancy qualification desirable but not essential.
4. You must be a driver with your own vehicle due to the remote location of the role.
