As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our products, ensuring they deliver measurable value to clients and align with our mission. Note - This is a role to shape the direction and delivery of data and AI products using Agile methods. You will be responsible for the backlog, so this is more of a technical role than a marketing one.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
* Define and communicate the company's product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
* Ensure products align with the company's goals and client needs, balancing short-term delivery with long-term innovation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify market opportunities and prioritise features based on impact and ROI.
* Collaborate with the Coalition to develop product roadmaps for each of the major disciplines within project delivery.
* Develop the business cases and gated reviews to support investments.
Product Development:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and data specialists, to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope. Balance delivery through internal investment, co-investments with others, R&D grants, client projects, and project assignments.
* Translate user needs and business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
* Use Agile and Lean principles to manage the product lifecycle, including planning, testing, and iteration.
Client and User Engagement:
* Engage with clients and industry partners to gather feedback and ensure products meet user needs.
* Represent the voice of the user in all product discussions and decisions.
* Facilitate workshops and help to develop product roadmaps and associated artefacts in a field that is rapidly evolving.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
* Leverage analytics and user feedback to measure product performance and inform decision-making.
* Define success metrics for products and use these to evaluate progress and guide improvements.
Collaboration and Leadership:
* Act as the central point of contact for product-related queries and decisions; provide subject matter expertise on all things related to product management.
* Coordinate across departments, including training, professional services, and the solution factory, to ensure alignment and coherence.
* Drive the integration of apprentices’ contributions and open-source solutions into product development.
Market and Industry Awareness:
* Stay abreast of trends in data-driven project delivery, advanced analytics, and AI.
* Identify opportunities to differentiate our products and maintain a competitive edge.
Products You Will Manage
As a Product Manager at Projecting Success, you will oversee a portfolio of innovative products designed to transform project delivery through data and AI. You will also work with the Coalition product groups to shape product roadmaps and associated deliverables for risk management, scheduling, assurance, and other disciplines:
Marvin AI Platform:
* An open-source large language model tailored for project delivery challenges.
* Focus on integrating micro-agents and enhancing its usability for clients.
* Explore opportunities for premium services through specific use-case solutions.
Project Brain:
* A requirements capture and problem-solving system based on an ontology-driven framework.
* Ensure adoption by major organisations and drive measurable improvements in productivity and project delivery.
Apprenticeship Solution Factory:
* A scalable process for creating data products and solutions, leveraging apprentice projects.
* Systematise workflows to build, test, and scale solutions across organisations.
Knowledge Graph for Project Delivery:
* A structured approach to mapping project delivery problems and solutions.
* Embed agents to support processes and ensure seamless connections between data models and real-world applications.
Open-Source Solution Centre and Product Roadmaps:
* A repository for sharing apprentice-developed solutions and crowd-sourced project delivery tools.
* Drive engagement by ensuring high-quality code, documentation and sample data for experimentation.
KPI Dashboards and Data Products:
* Develop scalable data visualisations and dashboards for tracking project performance.
* Support clients in creating actionable insights and improving decision-making.
Membership and Training Platforms:
* Explore and expand a subscription-based model offering access to ‘how-to’ videos, practical tutorials, and training resources.
* Drive adoption through effective product positioning and user engagement.
Requirements
* Over 4 years proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in data analytics, AI.
* Strong understanding of project delivery and related industries, with a passion for driving innovation.
* The ability to quickly grasp, understand and complex concepts and turn them into product roadmaps.
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Articulate and confident.
* Proficiency in Agile and Lean methodologies, with a track record of delivering successful products.
* Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft DevOps and Monday.com
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
* Mention 'Knowledge Graphs' in your application or you will be sifted out.
* A collaborative approach, with a commitment to mentoring and developing talent within the team, including apprentices.
