Your Role as a KS2 SEN Class Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to support students with a range of learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties. Differentiate the KS2 curriculum to ensure accessibility and individual progress. Foster a positive and structured classroom environment, promoting students' confidence and independence. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO, support staff, and parents. Use adaptive teaching strategies, including multi-sensory approaches, to engage and support students. Work closely with therapists and support staff to provide a holistic learning experience. Assess and track student progress, ensuring interventions are effective and tailored to individual needs. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a specialist or inclusive setting. ✅ A creative, patient, and compassionate approach to teaching. ✅ Strong knowledge of differentiation strategies and SEN teaching techniques. ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
