A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist. The role of Employee Relations Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for ER case management for a specific part of the business. Working with Line Managers and HR colleagues supporting on a number of ER processes including disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement etc. Working with both employee and employer to resolve issues to ensure situations are resolved fairly.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Work with the ER Manager, provide advice and support to line manager, employees and HR on a range of issues including performance management, conduct issues, grievances, sickness absence, flexible working requests and workplace concerns.
* Ensure that ER investigations are conducted thoroughly and fairly.
* Liaise and coach line managers on performance processes.
* Support the wider team on wider ER issues.
* Provide documentation and follow ups.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Ideally CIPD and degree level qualified or equivalent
* Good written and verbal skills
* Strong understanding of employment law
* Strong consultancy and problem-solving skills.
